In Cameron’s words, “Barbershop means a lot to me because my family sings barbershop and I am following in their footsteps. I feel special because I am the youngest Barbershopper in Ontario. I also feel wanted because the Chordsman did not have to take me in. However, most of all, I feel that I have made a lot of new friends. I love singing with the Barrie County Chordsmen because they are a bunch of fun guys and they inspire me to do more in barbershop. I am really excited about quarteting because I can sing with my dad, my Uncle Todd, my Uncle Rob and my Bumpa. I would be the only tenor and I would have pressure and I work good under pressure.”

A Message to Cameron from Rob Arnold, Ontario District President

Congratulations, Cameron for joining the Barbershop Harmony Society, Ontario District and the Barrie Chapter. You are officially the youngest member in the Ontario District and all of us are very proud of your decision to join and sing with your father and grandfather. I am sorry that I could not be there in person Wednesday evening but I had a performance with MegaCity at a high school in Scarborough. I am certain you will find that singing is not only fun to do but the men you will sing with will be a great combination of friends, uncles and mentors that will help you out along the way. Congratulations again and I look forward to singing a tag or song with you very soon.
